Resin Angels - Journal
12-5-06: High time for an update. I'm thinking
about switching over to a Livejournal format so I update more often...
This doc must be slow to load for some of you.
Out: Nobody!
In: Spring Stroll Liz, Mika Sweet Dream
and Unoa Lusis "O" face
Awaiting: Bambicrony Tan Elf Kumi (my
Christmas present if she makes it in time)
Perpetually awaiting: La Promesse
Liebchen
Little Mika Sweet Dream got here first. She was a total impulse buy (by now it should be apparent that
most of them are) from Lelei at DoA. Lelei pieced her together with a Mika
Sweet Dream head, asexual Tenshi angel body (Tsubaki's?),
blonde Monique wig, brown glass eyes and default Mika Sweet Dream outfit.
She's utterly serene - after a couple false starts I've settled on the
name Misty.

This is the first time I've seen and held a Tenshi body in person. Wasn't
sure if I'd like it but I was surprised to find that I prefer it to
standard MSD girl bodies. Maybe because it appears more realistically
childlike since it doesn't have those little boobs with pointy nipples.
In direct contrast to Misty's sweet expression, Kitty now has another face
choice thanks to the Lusis "O" faceplate I won off eBay, faceup by Amye
Jenson. This faceplate is rare and highly sought by collectors. Sometimes
referred to as the Sexy face, the
sculpt can be versatile depending on how it's painted and how the doll is
posed. Orgasm or distress? You decide!

At last, my fair lady Liz is here! You already know her story - I'm just
bowled over by how stunning she is in person. I've referred to her as Liz
for so long that I can't imagine her going by any other name. Here she is
wearing her default eyes & faceup, a Volks V-Jeans jumpsuit and a rather
messy Monique Gold Ginger wig. She looks beautiful in EVERYTHING!

11-3-06:
My definition of Heaven: three new dolls arrive
in one week!!
Out: Sybarites Skye (just not a 16"
fashion doll fan), CH unique Acacia (we were never meant to be) and
Ipsae Monahan (a beauty, but dwarfed my other dolls)
Temporarily rich, then...
In: Customhouse Unique Knight of Queen
Yuna, Unidoll UH-13 and Customhouse Unique Glamorous White Hyun.
First up is CH unique Yuna who now goes
by the name Kate. THIS is the one that caught my eye and I would've bought
her if I had gotten there first. Fortunately her first owner fell for a
couple of Little Jr Ai boys and put her up for sale fairly quickly. Good
thing I obsessively watch the DoA marketplace!

The second girl to show up was creepy Andromeda
a Unidoll UH-13 with a custom faceup.
Gothic, brooding, intense and lifelike, my Andromeda will make even the
most dedicated doll lover feel vaguely uneasy. Her eyes pierce your soul
when she gazes directly at you. The French resin is utterly
luminous and check out those rosy cheeks which belie her dark nature. What a
fantastic body for posing - I love how the knees lock. She arrived on
Halloween!

Last but not least, along comes another unique
Customhouse beauty - Glamorous White Hyun.
Uyuchagongbang does it again!
This doll is FABULOUS from head to toe!! Everything about her is luscious - the
finest mohair, sparkling gems, leather, silk, soft lace and feathers...her white
zombie eyes should be creepy but somehow they're not. Bianca is incredible.
She's like an angel.

Still awaiting Liz and La Promesse...

10-14-06:
Not to much has happened these last few
weeks. I sold just one doll (Kiki, my Human Kkotmu), still awaiting La
Promesse (zzzz) and bought two: Liz and Unidoll UH-13. Needless to say the
winning notice from Volks sent me over the moon!
I do get the feeling that everyone who
put in for Liz and Shiro won them as I haven't heard of anyone who hasn't.
It's nice that Volks is finally hearing our plea and making enough limited
dolls to go around. Shipping due for the end of November.
Now for UH-13 who has captivated me. Of all the dolls I've seen, Unidolls are the most
unique and some of their facial sculpts are eerily human, like they
resemble someone you know but you can't quite put a name to it. I ordered a custom faceup and am
impatiently awaiting her arrival (mid Nov?). She's clearly an old
fashioned goth girl, so I bought her a long black empire waist dress with
flowing spider web cape on eBay, and a pair of those fab high heeled
laceup boots from Musedoll. Her clothes are already here so Sophie is
borrowing them at the moment. Sad to say she's still trying to find her look. I'm
inclined to say that Sophie is NOT the Black Widow type but I'll let her
find that out for herself!
Recent arrivals: CH Unique Millennium Love
Acacia and Sybarites Skye. Here's a pic of Acacia:
I didn't like the high dome blue glass eyes CH
included, so I changed them to 21mm Masterpiece eyes - not sure of the
exact color but it's a lovely golden brown and matches her outfit much
better than the blue did. Acacia is a character from a Korean manga series
(Millennium Love) and CH was kind enough to include one of her books,
signed by the author. Pretty cool, eh?
(Wish I could read Korean!)
She's got that gorgeous snow skin which is
difficult to photograph but absolutely glows in person.
Wouldn't you know it, the moment I bought her
Haute Doll Magazine offered a limited snowskin Cebee at a decent price. I would've
preferred Cebee because she is a favorite sculpt and Sia is easy enough to
get. I could sell Acacia to buy Cebee...but I haven't had her long
enough and may regret it later.
Decisions, decisions.

Skye is quite a gal. The jury's still out on her
though because she's worth a fortune which might be better spent on
another BJD, although I do think she's uber glam. I'm just not much of a
16" fashion doll fan.
Hands down she is the best poser in the
universe. I find her beautiful from some angles and somewhat frightening
from others. She looks fab in her Superdoll Magi outfit, doesn't she? Not
that you can tell from this photo since it just shows her face!

9-20-06:
Ch ch ch ch changes
Out: Daisy (Obitsu 60cm), Tansy Rose (Elf
Elly Peach), Sophie #1 (Yori head)
In: Sophie #2 (Megu head)
Awaiting: Customhouse Unique Millenium
Love Acacia - Acacia, La Promesse Liebchen (still!) and Hautedoll
exclusive Sybarites Skye - not a BJD but worthy of a mention since she's
one hawt mama and also set me back $500 (a deal, really!):-0
First, here's the all new and improved Sophie:

I smooshed her eyelashes on one side by accident
- oops. It can be fixed though. Her pretty faceup is by Cycy in
France - isn't she lovely? Although I liked Yori, the 4 sisters head is
just too sweet and has been calling to me for years. She took over the
flexi body but Mika protested because the neck on Mika's SD10 pureskin
body always looked a bit thick in relation to her small head. Once they
swapped bodies everybody was happy and perfectly proportioned.
As far as Acacia goes...just another example of
why I should be barred from life from the Customhouse website. I went
there to study the oldskin girl bodies and ended up slobbering over the
Uniques as usual. Even worse, this time I bought one! Just can't resist
those CH snowskin girls and this Sia was priced to sell. Can't wait to
CHANGE HER EYES! Everything else is perfect. Here's her link:
http://www.ainai.com/eng/index.htm?menu=product_view&num=1990
I heard a rumor that the Liebchens were expected
at Hautedoll next week. Fingers crossed. I'm still not clear about whether
or not mine will be in the first batch. Oh patience.
And then there is the Sybarites clone Skye.
Always wanted one but she sold out before I'd heard of her and just my
luck she came up on eBay at a price I couldn't resist. This is just after
I bought Acasia so go figure. When it rains it pours. I love her
description which I've lifted from Hautedoll at
http://www.hautedoll.com/shopping.php?id=10#
(without permission sorry)
"A born Diva of Sybaritic decent. Skye is
as Skye does. Psychic. Known to have the answer before you have the
question.
Blue eyes
Slick center part wig
Nude pink lip & manicure
Pitch black underwear & zip-up stiletto boots"
Who wouldn't want this doll?? I also forked over
an additional $200 to get her the 705 Magi fashion because every Sybarite
must have at least one colorful, strangely matched and frighteningly funky
Superdoll outfit. Talk about bling!
Another note about Sybarites: am I the only one
who thinks they look like glam queens? Not their bodies of course,
but from the neck up that fierce face is oddly...male.

8-26-06:
Wow almost a month since the last
update and so many changes have taken place.
Out: Mia (Tanning MNF Lishe) & Gabrielle (43cm
Narae). Sad partings but I needed $$$$$$!!!
In: Sophie (Yori head with D1 flexibody) & Ivy (Dolpa
7 One-off Antique Style MSD).
Sophie was planned and came together without a
hitch. I bought her head on D0A and her body on eBay - great deals all
around. She's very mature and serene looking. The Flexi Body is very
strange and takes some getting used to, but once it's arranged artfully it
is the most amazing body I've ever seen. She can sit cross legged! Her
toesies bend! It's incredible. The joints are ugly but you have to give up one
thing for another. Very pretty hand sculpt.

Ivy was a total impulse buy but I HAD to have
her. I recall drooling over per pix elsewhere and when Biscuitbear listed
her for sale on DoA I could hardly believe my luck. I became her third and
hopefully final owner. She's been beautifully cared for and has all her
original things, including her paperwork, box, outfit, shoes, eyes etc.
Only change is her wig which was replaced with an exact duplicate. I've
seen pix of her original wig and it looked pretty beat! Isn't she darling?

This lucky girl is dressed in the absolute best
from head to toe - Bravot silk French style dress & matching wired bonnet,
Bravot knitted socks, Bravot leather shoes and Bravot mohair wig. She's
little Miss Bravot! :) I intend to keep her style as antique as
possible and will attempt to acquire more gorgeous Bravot things as time
goes by. I'd love to have R12 on
http://www.bravot.com.
I'm also awaiting two more dolls. Well
technically I'm awaiting one, but hoping to win the lottery for the other.
On tap is Fancyboots exquisite La Promesse Liebchen, limited to 25 and
sold exclusively thru Hautedoll Magazine. How sad, but she is the last of
the Liebchens :( I was lucky enough to get my order in before they sold
out. Still awaiting completion and shipping.
I received my gorgeous Volks "Another Yourself"
book and sent in my coupon and order form for Spring Stroll Liz. Haven't
heard the word from Volks yet so fingers are still crossed.
The other day I was all excited when I received
a letter from Volks USA. Am I getting Liz?? I couldn't get the envelope
open fast enough and got a painful paper cut for my efforts. Turns out it
was just a dumb store ID card - aaarghh! Volks is cruel!

7-28-06:
Helloooooooo Lucy! I'm surprised by the hefty
solid feel of her - she weighs more than I expected. It's an interesting
joint system to be sure and while she can pose naturally with some effort,
I think her crazy arms & legs could do with a bit of wiring to help with
stability.
I adore the warm sun-kissed color of her skin
which glows with something akin to good health. She fits reasonably well
into Blythe and Licca sized outfits and shoes, although tops are roomy
around the chest and shoulder area. Shoes are a hair large too but stay on
when worn with socks.
Her resemblance to Kitty (my Sist) was
pointed out when she first emerged from her box, so I've gone ahead and
named her Kat. Personally I think it's the Unoa-like fur wig but whatever!
I like Kat.
Kitty & Kat - Almost too cute to get away with!
I popped onto eBay this morning and bought her
two pretty wigs from Poshdolls. Aww that widdle biddy size 4 head!
Oh the other day I received a shipping notice
from Volks. "Another Yourself" is finally headed my way! I'm psyched -
can't wait to read it and am determined to get that special Liz (or die
trying!)

7-23-06:
Alas! I've run afoul of South Korea's rainy
season :( so consequently I'm still awaiting the arrival of little Roxydoll Lucy. Shipping was
initially promised for 7/15 but...you know how it goes. My Momokos have
been dipping into Lucy's wardrobe and I'm afraid we'll all be tired of her
new clothes & shoes before she gets here!
Have you seen the
newest CH limited Little Junior Ai Sonia? She's adorable...and still
AVAILABLE...ohhhhh (clutches head). I can't afford her without first
selling someone, so I forced myself to look at the situation realistically
and decided that I still prefer my little Jr Muse (Brigitta) and it's
Sonia's colors that are appealing to me. Just get a 6/7 auburn wig, bright
purple outfit and pop in some blue eyes and voila - problem is solved.
Save myself $500 in the process. The newest CH uniques and limiteds are
due to be revealed on 7/29.
Must. Not. Let. Myself. Near. CustomHouse. On.
7/29.
I can't
sell anyone right now because I need to keep my options open in case the
"Another Yourself" coupon I intend to send to Volks (whenever I get my
book!) allows me to actually buy a Spring Stroll Liz:
http://site.volksusa.com/html/2006/05/li_liz.html.
I preordered the book from Volks USA a long time ago and am most eager for
it to arrive. I've heard that the books ordered from Volks Japan have
started shipping...hurry up Volks USA!
By the way, my copy of the "BJD Orbyrarium"
arrived from Hautedoll last week and I'm so very pleased with it. The
photos are a feast for the eyes and I'm thrilled to have a book devoted to
BJDs AND written in English. How often do you find something like that?
The vinyl cover is really cool - like "Unoa Freak" it feels nice to the
touch.
My PayPal account is still completely zeroed out
but I'm in a dangerous "What can I buy today??" mood so I'd best close
this laptop and find something else to do.

7-8-06:
Drumroll please......introducing two new dolls:
Here's Mia, my tanning Mini Fee Lishe who
arrived this morning amid much fanfare. She was an impulse buy but I'm so
happy with her. I once had a big Lishe in normal skin but we didn't bond
and her crazy legs were maddeningly uncontrollable. This new girl is the
best of Lishe in my opinion. She has the beautiful face but better posing
ability and the skin color is just gorgeous. I really do think this is the
way Lishe was meant to look. She came without a wig but I had this pretty
brown one standing by. Doesn't it look like it was made for her?

Next up is little Tansy Rose who is an Elf Elly Peach. I love Banji and
someday I may get the special tanning Banji with the white hair and black
dress, but something about Peach's sweet expression and the cute yellow
dress she was wearing in the eBay auction swung me toward her. She's
sitting in Mia's lap in case anyone is confused by the big tan hands &
legs!

I must be on a tanning roll because I recently won an auction for
Roxydoll's special tanning Lucy. She's about Licca sized so it shouldn't
be hard to find clothes for her. Another Tiny? What's up with that? I
thought I didn't LIKE tinies...

6-7-06:
Daisy's body arrived yesterday! I
wasn't sure if I would like it because it's made of vinyl and constructed
like a garage kit figure, not strung with elastic - but I was pleasantly
surprised. The body poses extremely well and holds those poses better than
the resin dolls! It's light but the frame is solid and the magnetic feet
are wicked! She stands on a simple metal disk, no bulky doll stands
required. Isn't that the coolest thing? :)

Following is a quick pic of Fern with Mika, Jett & Kitty. OMG she's HUGE!!

6-4-06:
Fern (Ipsae) arrived last week
- she took roughly 30 days from order to arrival. Wow, she's big! and
truly beautiful. I'm glad I ordered a couple of Dollmore Model size
outfits as well because she doesn't fit into anything made for SD & SD13
girls.

She has broad shoulders, large bust,
slim waist, curvy hips and thighs and the longest legs imaginable -
definitely a model's proportions! From certain angles her face is
incredibly serene.
She's strung perfectly and poses like a
dream. I've tried a variety of wigs and eyes but find she looks best in
her defaults. Someone at Dollmore certainly knows what they are doing!

Next up: my pretty impulse buy - Daisy, who is a
60cm Obitsu Gretel head. Daisy was expertly painted by the talented Amye
Jensen. I added the blue glass eyes and wig. Daisy is currently awaiting
her body, an Obitsu white skin soft body B. The Junky Spot shipped it on
Friday so fingers crossed she'll be transformed into a whole person by the
end of this week!

5-14-06:
Still awaiting Ipsae... Dollmore is buried in orders for
her which doesn't surprise me a bit.
Mine is supposed to ship this week (fingers crossed!). I've asked them
to add that pink & green spring outfit to my order. Might as well save
myself the extra EMS shipping because I know I'll just order it anyway as soon as she
arrives!
I've changed Claudia's name back to Mika. Her
default name is stuck in my head and I keep referring to her as "Mika no I
mean Claudia" so the hell with
it. Her name is Mika!
Here's the latest family portrait:
 The
open space behind Gabrielle & Lily is reserved for Ipsae, although she's
so big that her head would be cut off if she were actually standing in
this pic! Think 10cm taller than the boys - WOW!

5-9-06:
Well we've had another shakeup. It all
started when I fell in love with Dollmore's new 70cm Model girl Ipsae
Monahan, simultaneously deciding I couldn't live without Domadoll's Human
Kkotmu! So I looked at my dolls with a critical eye and decided to
sacrifice Lydia (Sooah) and Narin (Gavin) for the greater good. Off to the
DoA Marketplace I went.
Once
sold and money in hand, I bought adorable Human Kkotmu from another DoA
member who had both the Human and Elf version. If I'd had the money while
they were still available during the preorder I might have bought them
both as well! It was difficult to decide between them, but I opted for the
Human version on the grounds that the Elf Kkotmu horse body would be
impossibly awkward to clothe. Little Kiki arrived quickly and I just love
her. I tend to have a problem warming up to Tinies, but this one may break
the "see a Tiny, think she's cute, buy her, think "uhh" and immediately
sell her" cycle! She fits into Petite Ai clothes, shoes & wigs which I
consider a bonus.
I
tried hard to resist Ipsae on account of her enormous 70cm size but her
pretty face is calling to me and frankly I'm intrigued by her stature. I
have no clothes or shoes to fit such a big girl and she'll dwarf my SD13
boys by 10cm - but so what!
I ordered an attractive dress and black high
heeled shoes along with the doll so she'll have something to wear when she
gets here. I've no idea when that will be but fingers crossed within the
next few weeks. For the last 9 days I've been compulsively checking my
order status on the Dollmore site!

4-17-06:
Brigitta arrived on Friday! I can tell
right off that she'll be a keeper. What does CH do to their little snow
skin uniques that make them look so alive? I haven't tried any other wigs
or eyes on her yet as I think she's perfect just the way she is. Perhaps
when my Eye Candies order arrives I'll try the 12mm Grape ones on her,
although I did order them for Kitty who's still wearing Gavin's
defaults...
Speaking of Kitty & Gavin, their beautiful faces
arrived last week. Here's a quick pic of the 3 amigos. I hardly recognize
them now!

4-9-06:
Gallery updated with pix of
Mika/Claudia, Info page and Photostories page added. Now I'm taking a
break from the PC!

4-8-06:
Easy come easy go! Schulze is sold and
flying to the UK to make room for this precious girl:
http://www.ainai.com/eng/index.htm?m..._view&num=1683
She's
one of CustomHouse's latest Costume Play offerings, part of the series of
"Sound of Music" dolls. This one is a Little Jr Muse who appears to be fashioned
after Angela Cartwright's character (Brigitta?) in the movie. After I ordered
her, I emailed CH to ask about shipping and if these dolls are Uniques.
An
excerpt from their kind reply:
"Yes, all sound of Music dolls were made only one in the world. The shipping
usually takes 10-15days, but When I checked with the shipping department they
told me they will do their best to ship the doll out by early next week! Please
wait few more days for your lovely Muse. (Oh, she was the doll I wish to buy
too...T_T)"
I'm psyched! A CH Unique for the price of a Cosplay, and she'll soon be here!
If you're familiar with BJD collecting, you know how quickly doll plans can
change. I was saving for a body for my SD Mika head and planning to keep all my
dolls, but one look at little Brigitta and those plans flew out the window! My
SD Mika head arrived recently, so I tried her out on Natalie's body and Mika
liked it so much she refused to give it up. After selling Schulze I still needed
a little extra money to buy Brigitta, so Natalie's head was sacrificed to the
DoA Marketplace. I feel sad about letting her go but I can always get another
FCS F08/F05 head and I'm confident she's going to good home.
As
for Kitty & Gavin's faces: Lilykoi has just finished them and they are
GORGEOUS!!! I can't say enough good things about Lilykoi. She charges reasonable
rates for expert work, goes the extra mile to fix flaws in the resin
and is such a lovely person! She's recently changed her studio name to
ÆnigmaDoll.
Find her website here:
http://www.enigmadoll.com/ and it goes without saying that I highly
recommend her for faceups and aesthetics. She sent a load of pix this morning
and I hope she doesn't mind that I borrowed one to show how beautiful her work
is. Imagine these faces
attached to bodies with wigs and eyes in place...WOW.
Well. It looks like I need to take some new pix
(especially of SD Mika) and update the gallery as soon as I can.

3-14-06:
Schulze has landed! What a cutie pie -
his faceup is very nice. I had to change his eyes though - those red Souldoll eyes were too creepy for such a sweet little boy. I think Angel
is currently in shock since she's never actually seen a boy her size :)
Can you guess which cat is real?

Great news: on Sunday I won an SD Mika
head on Y!J and what luck: she still has her default faceup, eyes and wig
- just how I wanted her! Now I REALLY need a girl body but I'm fresh out
of funds AGAIN....:( Must sell something or somebody so I can order her a
D1 flexi body.
On Monday I sent Kitty & Gavin's
faceplates off to a faceup artist to be painted properly. I'm always
unhappy with my faceup attempts so it's time to stop complaining and seek
professional help. I'd say both dolls have now hit rock bottom...they look
pretty weird just kinda standing around without their faces - eww!

3-10-06:
Crystal is sold, Schulze is on his way
and Jedtas (Jett) is here!! Wow, what a gorgeous boy! Now I really want that
D-1 Flexi girl body - I love Domuya dolls!

3-5-06: I
went crazy this week and sold two dolls, the third is on eBay as we speak.
Charlotte's on her way to Australia, and Bebe whizzed off DoA this evening in less than
a half hour - it must be a record! I've fallen for a couple of boys and
decided it was time to thin out my gaggle of girls. Not that I won't think
about buying Emma if someone bids on Crystal...
I've ordered Domuya O.N.E. Jedtas from
Sunrise Dolls and should have him by the end of this week. In his official
pix he bears a disturbing resemblance to Harry Potter, but I see loads of
potential and of course I'll help him become his own person. That little
smile just melts me.
Also on tap (I hope) is a handsome and
very unique looking Volks Schulze on eBay. If I win him he will be my
first real MSD boy. I love his faceup - the seller is quite talented.

2-23-06:
Introducing my newest girl: Lydia, a Rainydoll
basic Sooah who arrived yesterday nearly a month late. She's absolutely
worth the wait. So beautiful and I'm delighted by her random default eyes
which are a pretty shade of sky blue. I chose the small busted
body.
I once had a Ryung with the large
bust and the poor girl was so stacked she didn't fit into most of my SD
sized outfits! The small busted Rainydoll body is more realistically
proportioned - the waist is slim, the bust is modest and the thighs are
slightly beefier.
Yeah so I collect BJDs, not giant Barbies! :)
I love Rainman's dolls with their tall
bodies and graceful hands. This time the right sculpt came along.
Combined in Sooah is the sultriness of Ryung and the sweet serenity of
Soah - She's perfect.
...and check out those wicked specs!
Free gift from Rainman and Elfdoll.

2-22-06
(updated): The Afghan eyes arrived this afternoon: YOW! Welcome to Zombieville.
I've forced Gabrielle to model them...
"I WILL EAT CHUR BRAINZ...I WILL
KILL YOU IN YOUR SLEEP..."
Forget about Kitty who looked
downright terrifying so I had to delete the pic! We may have to re-think this look...:)

2-22-06:
Kitty got a new faceup last night. I'm still not completely satisfied with
the results and it must be about my 15th try - perhaps I never will be. So
far I haven't met a paintbrush with fine enough bristles to achieve the
lip look I want. Okay let's face it - it's not the fault of the paintbrush
but that of the "artist" who wields it! ;) I'll keep practicing. She still
needs eyelashes but I do prefer this more natural look. Gavin's default
glass eyes look adorable on her, although I'm anticipating the arrival of
some 11mm Masterpiece Afghan eyes. In example pix they appear intense and
strange when worn by other dolls - the colors are beautiful though and my
pretty Kitty is the doll I vote most likely to pull this off with panache.

2-13-06:
RanD Angel Karen is here! What a concept - a BJD made in 16"
fashion doll size. Some don't consider her a BJD but I
think she has all the elements: ball
joints, resin construction, strung with elastic cord, bald as a cue ball,
inset removable eyes... The fact that she can share clothes with the Tonner girls doesn't make her any less of a BJD as far as I'm concerned.

She's much heavier than expected and
quite the little poser. The resin is very thin at the joints so her limbs
need to be moved carefully, and she arrived with a rubbed eyebrow which
I'll need to fix. Regardless, I think this Selina/Karen sculpt is lovely
and she'll be perfect with a dab of paint and a coat of MSC to take off
the shine.

2-9-06:
I've never been so fascinated with a doll before - just can't stop gazing
at Gabrielle and picking her up to marvel at her beauty.

Her sculpt and faceup are exquisite
- no photo could capture the ethereal quality. Narindolls are amazing.
Someday I'd like to get a 60cm Narin but I'll be sure to specify the exact faceup I have in mind. Wish I'd done that on Gavin.
I'm annoyed right now due to this
unexpected extended waiting period for basic Sooah. Shipping was promised
for the end of January and so far no word. I'm aware that they make each
doll by hand but a little update now and then would be much appreciated.
I've already dipped into her fund to pay for 16mm Apple Green Eye Candies
- I had to move fast when they popped up for sale on DoA...must sell a few
more things or they'll be nothing left to pay with when Sooah finally
arrives. As for RanD Karen? Still held up in customs.
I'm
suffering Emma Envy... I noticed there are still a few Emmas left on the
Volks Japan site and yesterday I placed her in my shopping cart just to
see how it would feel...
No question about it - I HAVE to sell
someone if I want to go through with the purchase. Wish I had an extra
82,950 yen lying around!
What a pretty girl she is.

2-1-06: She's here she's here she's here!!!
Gavin and I think Gabrielle is breathtaking. Can you feel the loooooooooove??

1-28-06:
Added gallery pix and a page full of links.
No Gabrielle today (heavy sigh). Guess
I have to wait until Monday.

1-26-06:
A new BJD site is born! Lots more to do but it's a start...
Narae has landed in Ohio and will be
shipped here shortly! Catrina (Dollfair) says I'll have her by the end of
the week! (happy dance) Can't wait to see the lovely Gabrielle!
No word yet on Rainydoll Sooah's
journey to the USA :( The deposit is down but the balance is burning a
hole in my PayPal account. Must. Not. Spend. It. On. Another. Doll.
Hautedoll informs me that they're
waiting for the RanD Angel Karens to arrive from Taiwan, possibly in the
next week or two. I've hit eBay and collected some wicked clothes but
still need 8mm eyes & Tyler size wigs for variety. Ack! the waiting is
killing me - where is my errant Angel?
